Default Can I just download an .nzb file?

I just want to download a .nzb file without JD attacking it. Just open the folder and there is the nzb file. I have disabled open containers and delete containers to no avail. Every time I add an nzb file JD tries to download the contents and the nzb is gone.

@Themycles: What do you mean by "attacking it"? Do you mean delete?

How do you add the nzb file? Via Drag/Drop? Load Container file? Or copy file to clipboard?
Are you downloading the nzb file and wanna keep the nzb file? Or are you adding already existing file from disk, see previous question?
Please provide a log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/de/k...d-session-logs
Enable debug mode, reproduce the issue and create log and post shown logID here

I was not able to reproduce this but I have an idea why it might have happened to you, but need log for it.

I mean trying to parse and download the content and deleting the nzb file. The files are added via JD remote in android. Yes, I want to download the nzb and keep it for use in another program. You know how you download an mp4 file and there it is? Not converted to an mkv. I want to do that with an nzb. Download it and there it is. There's too much personal info in a log file. Sorry.

@Themycles: Thanks for the followup.
You have to disable both Settings->Advanced Settings->
LinkCrawler.autoimportcontainer
(this one is generic plugin to auto load/import supported container files, not download the file but open/import their content)
and
GeneralSettings.autoopencontainerafterdownload
(this one tells JDownloader to auto open/import downloaded container files)

JDownloader has another nzb plugin and that's why you have to put "directhttp ://"(without space) in front of the url to tell JDownloader you wan to actual download the nzb file and not parse it.

After next update (by tomorrow), you no longer have to put "directhttp ://" in front off the url
