Question .JDC Containers Broken/Not Working

I have tried to open .jdc containers many times with no luck. I will click the "Add Container" button, select the .jdc file, enter the password, and nothing will happen...no links will show up. I am positive I am entering the correct password.

Is it possible that .jdc containers aren't compatible with Jdownloader on Macs? I just find it odd since I have no trouble opening .dlc containers.

If anyone has any insight into this issue, your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I sent you two emails about one week ago. One email had the .jdc attached, and one had the link to my log. Did you receive them?

Thanks.

I'm having the exact same problem!
Can't open jdc containers and I'm sure the password is correct! I even made a test case using the default password so I couldn't possibly type it incorrectly!

The log says: SEVERE [java_downloader] -> Container Decryption failed (1)
Anyway... Should I send you my jdc's and log as well?

@anybody else: If you experience this problem, too, though the containers are fine, then create an empty folder named "Java" in your JD directory.

Can you please explain this a little more? What do we need to do with the container and the empty java folder?

Nothing, it's just a Java bug. When you cannot open a container, this is the cause, from time to time.

So if I'm using a Mac, would I create the folder in ~/Applications/Jdownloader/Contents ?

because you find hidden stuff that most people wouldn't find during their whole life.

Hi thinker, the reason why I'm writing right now is because I found myself struggling with the same problem here, I had some jd issues in the past, but after reading a lot on this post I switched to the nightly version, and everything started working just fine . . . kuddos for that!!! :D
but now every time I try to add lets say. . . any kind of container, nothing happens, is just like if I didn't do anything, (i have the jdownloader in c:\jdownloader, cause I've heard that it may cause some troubles when you put it on program files), I've created that "Java" empty folder, waited for a couple of days, for an update, or a miracle hahaha, but is still the same, I've been searching on the web for this kind of issue with absolutely no results whatsoever, and I just don't know what to do . . .
I've tried with several containers, even some containers that I was able to add a couple of days ago, but for some weird reason right now they won't do anything but this:

------------------------ Thread: 61 -----------------------
61 16/08/10 01:05:54 - INFO [jd.controlling.JDController$2(run)] -> load Container: C:\Users\Emiliano Pastor\Desktop\FAMILYGUY_V8_D3_RS_SOLOSERIESDVD.BLOGSPOT.COM.dlc

And nothing happens . . .

Any clues? thanks in advance for reading this . . .

I would post this issue in the Nightly forum. Also attach an example container.

@mentolitos: remi is right. Please read the General Bugreport Rules and the Self Help Index and provide the information we need.
In addition, you have to expect bugs in the Nightly-TEST-Version.
Ensure that java.exe and javaw.exe are on your firewall's exception list.
Greetz

PS: For the future: do not post any Nightly problems in another forum than in the Nightly forum.
