@roundsquare: There have been no changes in JDownloader. so no work done and that it now shows up at notification centre isn't because of any changes by us. Have you recently installed fresh JDownloader? have you tried the workaround provided in this thread?

I updated the OS on a new machine, and haven't tried the workaround previously, because MyJDownloader app by julien1530 came to be in the meantime. I just thought this time it can be solved natively without a "third party" app, since I haven't seen JDownloader in the Notification Centre before.
