@pboy2k: You can always fallback to manual installation, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...bedded-devices
Looks the the dropbox file no longer is online

Hi,

That's what I ended up doing. Thank you for the pointer. However, I encountered a new issue. When I updated jdownloader via web/setting, the process failed to restart on its own. Any suggestions on what I need to do to make the process restart once it's finished updating using the website? I had to manually start the java process again via putty.

Thank you in advance!

@pboy2k: do you use some start script? do NOT use -norestart parameter once you setup MyJDownloader logins

Klingt gut!
Quote:
Oops, couldn't download JDownloader2 update file. Please check your internet connection.

The installer script doesnt work because a required script/part of the installer is no longer offline.
We suggest to do the manual installation, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...bedded-devices

Default Qpkg for JDownloader 2

Are there any plans to release a Qpkg in near future for easy installation without putty and entware-ng? Would really appreciate that one.

@Partington:
You can install it manually without entware-ng. Just install Java(via Package manager or manually) and read
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...bedded-devices
Maybe in future but not at the moment. No time and we don't have much experience with Qpkg package creation

Thanks man, so stupid I didn't tried that earlier.
Was totally confused about the entware-ng thing as my NAS didn't seemed to be supported. Installation was easy and it seems to work so far. Looking forward to the first reboot.

@Partington: You can setup a *Startup* Script in your NAS via Webinterface and then autostart JDownloader. Without manual setup of autostart, you will have to restart JDownloader on every reboot. Thanks for the feedback! Glad it did work well for you
