Is there a way to rename coomer files to the text that is listed on the post? instead of just a "1a5464b5255-5c4a-4ac3-836d-6.fileextension"
Plus is there a way to add the date like with other crawler plugins, youtube and instagram have this for example.

Would it be possible to add the artist/user name/title as a jd:prop, so it could be used for a packagizer rule?

coomer.su months back was fine but now its unusable like the speed of downloading image is 1-40 kb/sec on a 1 gbps connection, also download doesnt get started most of the time and once few files gets downlaoded it stops and stucks on starting.

1. tried on fresh install of jdownloader on mac osx.
2. changed max chunks to 1 and max download to 5 and increased and decresed the numbers to experiment with lots of setting nothing works.


coomer download is broken on jdownloader

also tried on nord vpn and switched to many countries to test but the problem doesnt goes away.

please someone look into it

fix coomer speed please whats going on with this jdownloader constant updates to makes the app worse with every update it keeps falling apart.

am getting tired and out of patience with this download speed of barely 1 mb mostly 1-500 kb

i will stop making donations and move on. this is not working for all of us.

my downlaod setting is 3 chunks and 5 max download but coomer only starts with 2 download simultanioously and no matter what i do it stays the same the speed keeps dropping to kib kb and some times 1 mb but it keeps lingering at 1-500 kib whats wrong with these updates.

coomer plugin or something was messed up by dev on one of these updates.

this is unusable i have trying force starting but it keeps 2 download at max and speed is worse then imaginable.

team fix this asap for god sake.

why is the limit of simultanious download put at just 2, it only can download 2 at a time. why is that earlier it was as many as we can by changing the max download .

i think we need a new scarper tool now this jdownloader has put tons and tons of roadblocks in download speed for all major sites like pornhub, coomer, recu and many more...

Kemono.party items are limited to "start one download after another" to prevent users from running into their rate-limits.
This proved to be effective so it will not be changed.
However, JDownloader is open source so you are free to change that in the source code:

Also these "limits" have been in place for a long time and not just since the last set of updates.

Which speeds are you getting via browser when you download the same items?
You can't blame one tool for getting low speeds without even comparing.

feel free to check source and you'll notice nothing from those complains are caused by us. there are no *roadblocks* for download speed.

Dear team, i appreciate the clear response and we are immensely thankful for the great work u all do here with jd2 but this is my issue once again if i was not clear earlier.

the last time i used coomer to download via jd2 was back in 2023 may,june
during that time it was full on speed was great it was around 20 mb + constant on my 300 mbps connection some times even got 30 mb so it was so amazing.

But now once again when i try to download the speed limits are crazy barely getting 1 mb and extremely unstable some time stucks in keep connecting, too many requests error, my setting are modest 1-3 chunks and 5 download max.

from direct website i got around 15-35 mbps on my connection with nord vpn, and without vpn that will be much higher so what has changed since last year and now.

kindly request to please have a look and test it if you all get any free time. I know you guys are busy and amazing but please that our requests.

Once fixed i will donate again. As a thank you token.

Userid only fetches the "ID" of the artist, not the username, and title only works for individual posts, right?
I meant if it was possible to fetch the actual artist username-string.

As in, let's say an artist existed named "ExampleName", who had an id of "12345".
If i then analyzed "..../users/12345" to get all their posts, I could also then name my package "ExampleName - ID12345 - posts", using "<jd:prop:something> - ID<jd:prop:userid> - posts", or something along those lines.

Which you can't do currently, unless I'm mistaken?

@jeonje: did yuo ever think of JDownloader is not coomer? Sites keep chaning. Sites try to block tools/scrapers. Sites change layout/how they work and break plugins. Sites may add rate limits.

No need to donate! We'll look into it and of course try to fix/optimize as good as possible, but PLEASE

Which error can be reproduced with the URL you've linked here?

If you are still talking about the previous "low speed issue", I'm trying to be absolutely clear here:
1. Low-speed issues are not JDownloader bugs! You will find similar replies from our staff in similar threads - this is not just a reply that you are getting here.
2. The limitation to start kemono.party downloads sequentially has been introduced for good reasons.
As explained in the last post, you can remove it by editing the source code but it will not be removed in the official build.

@jeonje: I deep dived into this and cause is on coomer site. the final server for final/large image takes ages, just to answer the request (not even counting for the download)

Connection-Time: keep-Alive
Request-Time: 9857ms

And testing the same images in browser (Firefox and Chrome) also resulted in same bad/slow connections AND connection speed.
You can find same complains on other tools for this site as well

I would say bad configuration for their CDN or they struggle with high load/attacks

@jeonje: no changes and site is still slow as hell for me (in browser too). the preview images are *fast* but the full images on the content servers are slow. blocking everything else.

Hi. Is it possible for postContentIndex to pad the leading zeroes? As it is currently we get awkward ordering, because alphabetically e.g. 11 comes before 3. Ideally it'd be 001, 002, 003, etc.

Out of the box this is not possible but you can use an EventScripter script (instead of a Packagizer rule) to do this.

dear team the site coomer.su downloads are slow as hell both photos and videos takes forever to download. 40kb-1 mB speed is hell in 2024.

is these a popular trend as i see tons of sites limiting speed or causing restrictions for downloads.

1. The speed depends entirely on the coomer.su website, not JDownloader.
Contact the coomer.su support if you continue to get slow downloadspeeds and if you believe the problem is not on your side but their fault.
