JDonwloader2 for linux x64 on centos8 , starts self-update automatically,and fails, andstarts self-update automatically, and fails, and it loops.
there is exception log:

Looks like broken/missing font configuration on your system

java.lang.ClassCastException: sun.font.CompositeFont cannot be cast to sun.font.PhysicalFont

try the following, close JDownloader and rename the folder /opt/jd2/jre
and then the launcher should use system installed java. Install java in case it's not yet installed.
Please report back in case that doesn't help.

@tknr: maybe you can share what you did to make it work again? so others with same problem have some idea where to start looking/what to do
