Question JDownloader 2 isn't opening after latest update attempt

I've been using JDownloader 2 for past few months. My system runs on Windows 8.1 x64 & along with all applications, it is fully updated till now. Two days ago when I attempted to update my JDownloader 2, the process failed thus leaving it in an inoperable status. Now whenever I'm trying to open it, I'm getting error messages. I also tried to uninstall it but error messages are appearing there too. I've added screenshots for useful reference. One thing I would like to add that my system doesn't have any Java versions, either x32 or x64.

Here is the log
Please help me to overcome the problem. Thank you very much.

Thank you for the answer but I can't understand why the screenshot images & quoted log are not showing. Anyway I don't have any option to close JDownloader as it isn't opening at all. I should mention that I can't delete any file or folder as my system's C drive isn't showing any installation folder for JDownloader though JDownloader is still showing as installed program in my system's program list but I can't uninstall it. Is this problem related to Java anyway as the log file is showing lots of error related to Java. I've already mentioned that my system doesn't have any Java versions.

I've removed the image/text because they may contain personal information you don't wanna share with public.
JDownloader is installed in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\JDownloader 2.0
go into that folder and follow steps from my 2nd post

I already searched there but there is no folder named "AppData".

Just replace the USERNAME with your Name and paste the folder. The folder is invisible by default
You can also enter %AppData% in explorer window to open that folder

Sorry to bother you, I got the issue. I enabled "Show hidden files & folders" option & now I can see the "AppData" folder. I can see the "Core" file as you mentioned but its extension is appearing as .rar & not.jar. That might be due to my installed WinRAR program. Should I delete Core.rar ?

The extension is .jar but your Winrar might have just replaced the icon. Simple delete Core.jar (explorer might show rar file type) and the folders tmp and update and logs
and then start JDownloader again

Having same problem even after deleting the file & folders. JDownloader is not opening & same error messages are appearing. I even tried by restarting my system but still same issue.

Can you please send me the JDownloader.jar file to support@jdownloader.org so I can check it?
after sending me the file, delete Core.jar, JDownloader.jar and the folders tmp and update and log
download JDownloader.jar
mega.nz/#!6FtSTAaa!iCcVpHl4hePgpj2q7EdcqGofDQKAt7rohGybzRCogv0
place it in folder and start again

Yeah sure. I've sent you the Core.jar file through my Gmail account. I had to put it in WinRAR archive because Google blocked the original .jar file for security reasons. Please let me know further. Thank you very much for your support.

Did the given solution in post 10 work for you?
I'm sorry but I needed the JDownloader.jar file, not the Core.jar file

Sorry the given solution didn't work at all. I downloaded the file & placed in JDownloader folder & tried to open it, but still same thing is happening.

I can't see any JDownloader.jar file in the folder. How do I get it ?

JDownloader.jar is the file you've downloaded?!

I suggest we'll do a teamviewer session. Contact us via support@jdownloader.org and send us ID and PW

Thank you so so so much for your wonderful support. I downloaded the same file from Mega but earlier I completely misunderstood you & after download I renamed the file as Core. After your last post I realized it & changed its name from Core to JDownloader & it worked amazingly. I now can operate my JDownloader again like I used to. You're a life saver sir !!! Thank you very much again for such brilliant support.

Hi,

this should not happen.
You can however, easily backup your data and import it into a fresh JD installation.
See this help article.
