Downloads start instantanously after clicking in linkgrabber list
Just reinstalled my computer incl. JDL2.
Now something strange happens — directly after clicking in the list of links (2nd tab, link grabber), all downloads start immediately. No chance to sort, rename a package etc. pp. Probably I messed up one of the expert settings accidentally — but which? Before I completely un- and re-install JDL2 any help is appreciated! |

Check linkgrabber right bottom corner for quick settings. Maybe you've enabled autostart/autoconfirm.

Addendum:
The culprit turned out to be the expert setting 'LinkgrabberSettings: Auto-Switch to Download Table on Confirm Default' For whatever reason this setting was ticked as 'True' in a brand new installation even though the 'Auto-Apply' quick setting was explicitly disabled. Maybe something changed within the latest install procedure? If so, I'd suggest to reverse it; IMHO this 'feature' is rather annoying than helpful. |

Addendum 2:
Even the above mentioned expert setting does not really solve the problem. When starting JDL2 on a laptop (where the program worked completely fine beforehand) after the latest updates it showed the above mentioned irregular behaviour, too. All mentioned 'Auto-...' switches are explicitely turned off. As also some of the menu captions changed slightly (showing the program itself and not only the plugins have been updated recently) that triggers the strong assumption the last changes in JDL2 'improved' the link capture mechanisms for the worse. |

No settings have been changed/touched.

There have been no changes at all for linkgrabber/capture or any settings

Those are two complete different settings. One has nothing to do with the other

Okay, understood. My mistake.
Then the fact remains that on two different computers — one old installation, one brand new — JDL2 simultanously shows the above mentioned annoying behaviour. I've created a log file for the newly installed one: 25.05.19 20.30.40 <--> 27.05.19 20.06.22 jdlog://1436976935451/ It should show some cryptically labeled packages that moved to download tab within seconds and got moved to another package and thus renamed only after having arrived from linkgrabber list within the download list. I'd rather prefer doing those tasks beforehand. As mentioned 'Auto apply' and 'Autostart download' quick settings are explicitly disabled. Last edited by tt_1111; 28.05.2019 at 04:15. |

I would suggest we'll do a teamviewer session. Contact me via support@jdownloader.org
Log doesn't contain such activity. There must be something specific to your installation/configuration as no settings got touched/changed. Just to be sure: 1.) in bottom right corner in quick settings, you've disabled *auto confirm* and *auto start* ? 2.) there are no packagizer rules inplace that enable *auto confirm*? 3.) no script for eventscripter in place? 4.) no scheduler entry in place?

Thread may be closed. The problem was that some settings within the JDL browser plugin overwrite the correlating preferences within the program without further notification. Especially 'AutoStart' should NOT be checked unless you really want it without the chance to organize / rename your packages.
