I am trying to build the latest version based on this FAQ

Is this still a valid tutorial to follow or has it been outdated? The only part I could not do was the formatter. I do not know where to get the jdownloader_formatter.xml

I cannot seem to get it to run.

you need to add -Xmx512m to VM parameters, also be sure you copied the ressource/jd and libs folder from svn to your jd working dir!

without knowing what you setup in eclipse its hard to help you! you can eg provide screenshots of the start config window or easier, download teamviewer and visit supportchat, then someone can help you live.

the formatter is only needed if you want to commit sourcecode to svn, so that everyone uses the same formattersettings.

I deleted everything to do with eclipse and started over and it seems to work now. Must have been something I missed.
