Same name, One package (merge packages based on rules, yt playlist)
Hi everyone,
I do not like downloading files in bulks and I know I can put them all in one package manually. So, Is there any option to auto put them in one package or a rule based on file name container or something? |

Your description is quite vague but yes in general that is possible e.g. using Packagizer rule(s).

It's like downloading a TV series which has lots of episodes and share the same name with different episode numbers
I would like to put them all in one package and the new ones to be added to that package automatically by a rule based on a file name |

Sounds like that is perfectly possible using Packagizer rules.
Either you can do this on your own or you will need to provide example URLs in order for me to be able to help you.

here is a link of a youtube playlist of 8 videos, I know it is manageable in youtube playlists in package name rule, but outside of youtube every video would be in its own package (no batches there). I want to combine videos that share part of the file name into one package and also have the new ones added - that share part of the file name - automatically so I end up having packages containing playlists out of youbute. So, Is there a general rule for the program to detect files that share the file name and merge them in one package the new ones into the old package that share the file name? |

also the package name rule will put the links that added together in one package but won't add the new ones into that package

For me the following setting does the trick (without the need of any Packagizer rules): Settings -> Plugins -> yt -> Scroll down -> Customized Packagename -> Change that to: Code:
*PLAYLIST_NAME*

make the downloads tab more organized with only packages with videos of the same topic in it. not a video at the top and one at the bottom

Yes sure if that feels more organized you should use it in this way.
I'll mark this thread as "Solved".

I'm sorry but I was unable to understand your most recent reply. Did my answer help you or are there more open questions?
