Speedport Pro Plus
I'm owner of a Speedport Pro Plus (DSL + LTE - Hybrid Router). It looks like there is no available reconnect script out there.
I would like to help you creating one. Just tell me what you want me to do. |

@deadcode: please check if you can reconnect via webinterface?
is there a reconnect /disconnect/connect button that changes the external/WAN IP of the device? Most likely reconnect will only work on DSL part as LTE will use CarrierNAT or DSLite. I don't know any LTE provider that provides a real/dedicated IPv4. when you restart router, does the IP change?

there is a way to get a new ip via web interface by restarting the router.
There is also another option "Disconnecting DSL", but this does not change the IP so restarting the router is changing the IP. confirmed. |

@deadcode: does this router do load balance on the router itself, so you use both connections/IPs at the same time or does it combine both connections at ISP side to a single IPv4?

seem like combining both connections to ipv4 and ipv6. Disabling DSL seems like "disabling" LTE too. You still see LTE is connected but that's it.
LTE is used when you reach 80% (afaik) bandwith usage from maximum possible dsl connection. |

@deadcodeand and you have confirmed that restarting the router will give you new WAN ip? check via ipcheck0.jdownloader.org
I'm just asking because I recently helped someone with reconnect script, just to find out that the IP does not change at all.... If yes, then let's try a teamviewer session maybe next week and we can check if there is a way to automate the reconnect

just tell where to get in contact, you can play around on one of my vms (with access to the router)....btw....wir können das ganze auch auf deutsch machen :D

@deadcode: ich bin leider die/nächste Woche zeitlich ziemlich eingespannt, sprich bei mir frühstens in der Woche vom 8.11 :( Aber dann können wir uns das gerne gemeinsam via Teamviewer anschauen

keine eile meinerseits. ich werde mich einfach am 8.11 nochmals melden. dann können wir nochmal schauen wie die lage ist.
ich persönlich weiß ja wie es geht. es geht mir nur darum dem projekt etwas beizutragen und wenns nur die router hardware ist. |
