jdownloader forum issue
The translation of this forum does not work correctly, does not detect automatically.
Every time I have to choose the language manually, which can be annoying. Chrome. New Chrome no longer support: 'Autodetect language' ? New Chrome: Setting: 'Unknown' |

I have also noticed in the last couple weeks it has been detecting the whole site as, English to English conversion. Though I don't think this is JD forum issue as nothing has changed on our side (far as I'm aware), must be google chrome or google translate issue.

Quick Language Chooser on the forum after changing to PL - cannot translate from English to Polish, and after changing to US - translates English to Polish without a problem.
The worst problem with translating is when the page contains two or more different languages. |

yeah not entirely sure why tbh, myself I've experienced it with English as primary language in vbul setting, but in german threads.. Google detects as English and not German == fault.

I have the same issue on other sites like twitter where the website itself is in language X but tweets are in different language Y and chrome website translator often fails to offer the correct translation or doesn't offer at all. Maybe they don't use content but the layout/site itself to detect the language, I don't know

Automatic detection no longer works in newer versions of Chrome. Now is the era of manual language selection and will always be the biggest Chrome fail! I want to crush foreign pages, even in Japanese, to find selected materials for download, and here you can't even translate anything automatically. Manually, manually over and over again. Test Chrome 77 - NOT WORK Test Chrome 73 - ALWAYS WORK!!! How to turn off automatic updates in Chrome (do not upgrade to newer versions). If you know? Automatic updates are good to keep your browser safe and up to date. The problem occurs when there are changes in functionality. For example, it was very easy to translate a website into Chrome before. It has now been changed to make life harder for the old user. There should be a lot of embrace when you suddenly lose the function you have been using for years. Not possible DISABLE Autoupdate Chrome? |

I would not recommend to disable updates for browser!
Either it's a known issue and there is a bugreport for that broken chrome feature or it has changed and we simply don't know how to setup it or how it should work now

If a page has a "native interface language" - it will not be translated.
And this is the bug. Auto detection of another language will not work like it was in the older version of Chrome. If it is possible to change the interface language, then you can translate any page. |

I've installed version 76 Version 77 and 78 (current) stable It has many problems and bugs, inconveniences for users It does: 1. Remove commands in the menu 2. accidental closing of all tabs and NOT POSSSIBLE RECOVERY! 3. problems with translating what I experienced myself and millions of users. 4. UNDESPECTED REMOVE ALL USER DATA!!! Most users say: "New Chrome sucks". |
