Hi
New bubble nofity looks good but..

plz add these settings

-disable when watching fullscreen movie/tv.

-set how many seconds before it disappear.
Currently I feel it stays onscreen a bit too long..
maybe let us set how many seconds to appear before it disappear.
e.g 1 to x second

Not sure if that is so easy to do.
Also, the bubble notifications are there to see them even though JD is closed...this would kinda be a step back I think.

Full screen = you don't want to see pop-ups, right?

But I have to turn silent mode on/off everytime I plan to watch a movie..

can't there be a setting that

-enable silent mode when watching fullscreen video/tv etc..

then it is more intelligent method than manual method

You can ask coalado in the chat or wait for an answer of him here but I don't think this feature will come...

No it is not hard, but it is not a good method

It means everytime we watch a movie, we need to remember to double click the tray icon of JD, click on silent mode..

then when we finish, we click on silent mode again to disable..


the problem is how many times do we watch movies /TV in a day..
It could be a lot of times, and it would be random..

Doing that method you suggested would get very tiresome..

It is smarter to have a setting instead..

I am not asking JD to do everything...so I don't like your remark..

It is a suggestion to make bubble notifier better..

If people don't make suggestions/feature requests, then the program would just stay the same all the time, and we wouldn't have JD2 etc..

Sorry, the silent mode is new - some weeks ago it didn't even exist and now it's already too complicated just to enable it before watching a movie and disable it afterwards?

Well I didn't know this silent mode is new..

but even if it was...

As I said in my other comment it is not the complicated/hard factor..

It is do with needing to turn it on/off as many times as you watch movies/TV/gaming in fullscreen.

You have to double click JD in tray icon..
Then click silent mode..

Finish watching your movie..then unclick silent mode..

Now repeat this is as much times as you watch movies, watch TV, play games

This would get very tiresome...

It would be more smarter just to have a setting that would disable the popup when watching movies/tv in full screen since you don't want to be disturb with popups.

You only need to enable the setting once..
vs your method of manually doing it each time....

Which would be the smarter program design?

The main issue is how to detect full screen mode (movie / game). Anyhow, I'll add the link back to this thread.
