Default how to import config file for old links?

so i had to reinstall jd 2 because previous one was playing up but i copied the old config folder with the database.script file

i copied the old one back into the new download folder but when i open up jd again it doesnt have any of my old links?

how do i import it?

If you have had JD2 before, copy cfg folder. Config folder and database.script is from older JD, not JD2.

ah shit,
should i download old jd then so ican get my old links back?
cos i only copied config folder.

Long time ago, if you have config folder in JD's installation folder, installatiion process will convert config to cfg. You can try that, but additional links are gone.

@nitro91,

You can drag 'n' drop the "database.script" file from JD1 to JD2 or import it using "File > Load Linkcontainer" in the "Main menu".
