having an issue with a large takefile single file
Two separate large takefile files (which normally/usually work whatever the size including very large ones) but for an example I'll stick with the latest one. Linkgrabber imports it correctly at 60.37 GB but when moved to downloads in the downloads list all of a sudden it is shortened during download to under 3 GB. I thought maybe I was encountering a download limit so on the other one I refrained from using takefile for a week, then re-commenced but with the same result. Am I just out of luck with these files unless I purchase a premium? 99.9 percent of the time these large takefile files download with no such problem, and I've gotten all of them from the same download site/individual provider. Thanks for help

@sexplosion: please provide a log when this happens, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
My guess it that during download the filesize is reported at 3gb and only that amount is delivered. Sure the file should be 60,37 GB in size? sounds little bit large for a single file. Can you provide example links?

the file size is definitely correct and as mentioned jdownloader2 has handled up to 80GB takefile and filchier files, just having problems with this one and another one. I can reply with the link, however it's an adult movie/video from the 1980s is that OK to do before I do it?

here is the website description of the first one. Maybe the encoder messed up? if so I think they would have got complaints by now, don't see any

forgot to mention . . . it takes 5 days or more for jdownloader2 to finish the biggest ones! not a problem, just mentioning. I figure if I try to download them the normal way, they will eventually just time out

@sexplosion: would it be possible to create a log for this?

best would be to restart JDownloader, then download this file only (no others) and wait for issue to happen and then create log

I tried the file again as a normal download (no JD2) and it also changed the size to under 3GB and then winrar displayed the error message incomplete/corrupted file when it finished downloading. So it's obviously a problem with the file not anything to do with JD2. This file was 64 GB, I've now noticed the website put up the same movie on another free takefile link at 56 GB. The 56 GB one so far is working correctly in JD2. The larger file description says RAW and the smaller one says REMUX and the REMUX one also says HEVC which I'd rather have HEVC anyway. So I think you can mark this thread closed now thanks for your help

@sexplosion: thanks for the followup. most likely the files are broken server side and just *stop/abort* after 3gb and then of course extraction will fail.
