Unhappy Depositfiles Uploaded.to HTTPS login

Recently there was an issue with Depositfiles and Uploaded.to not routing with certain ISP's using HTTP but HTTPS seems to be working.

There was a plugin update here.

http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=48945

Now this does solve the issue of seeing the links and downloading as a free user but without https used to login to accounts, one cannot use their premium accounts to download. Looking forward to some solution to this.

Enabling HTTPS for depositfiles in the setting does not wqork with premium?
Please send me your account via PM so I can check/fix this...

Hey pspzockerscene

The issue is that in JD2, one has to enter login details first and I suspect that the authentication happens over http instead of https and hence the account shows as invalid (works with browser). The https upgrade was for links which is working fine, the issue is with login only.

It's a routing issue with some ISP's (happening for some non-India users too) as the sites are opening with other ISP's. The solution is to use https login and downloads which is what this thread is about. Use Jdownloader 2 and use https for downloads to solve the issue.

the finallink given isn't https nor can you correct it to accept https, you just get

315|depositfiles.com.log 6/07/13 12:59:30 AM - SEVERE [ depositfiles.com.log ] -> java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
at java.net.TwoStacksPlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method)

Those who are having the issue with routing, can actually use the generated link to download, I have been visiting the https page of depositfiles, generating the link and then downloading the files manually using the generated http link.

pspzockerscene, could you please again look at the https login method in JD2, the authorization is not happening over https which is why the login shows as invalid.

standalone, that was my findings for free, you could use https all up to the finallink. I assume that the Indian block still blocks the finallink as its not https and still part of the *.depositfiles.com domain

Psp is away if you want to message me your user:password I'll check the premium functions.

Works as intended here, all requests in the login sequence are https.

All download steps are in https except the finallink which is not presented in https nor cant be changed to https. This is the same for premium and free.

You will need to ask depositfiles to allow finallinks to be downloaded with https.

Thanks for the feedback.
This thread is now closed.
For uploaded.to stuff we have another thread so in case there is anything you want to tell us about uploaded, please use it.
