A few hours ago, mexashare made changes to their links, therefore, any mexashare links will no longer show any of the properties of the links, eg. filename, filesize, etc. it has been tested with the latest JD2 updates up to seven hours before submitting this thread.
Please update the code in the mexashare plugin to reflect the change.

one of your recent updates has broken this plugin, it was working fine till i updated a few minutes ago

never mind, i updated from an older version which causes the plugin to be broken/corrupted, if upgrading from a more recent version then it is ok. It is a good thing i'm always saving and archiving the JD2 folders especially before updating

it shouldn't matter how old your installations was prior to updating. It should not create your reported issue. Maybe multiple plugin updates issued (havent checked this, only a guess) between your original report and subsequent edit.

well, i tested it several times on different machines with same results, when updating from an older version, it broke the mexashare plugin, it only worked when updating from a recent upgrade. I usually do not upgrade unless a plugin needs upgrading, for example before i posted this thread, i had not updated JD for more than a year and only updated for the mexashare plugin, i have JD on four machines and i had updated three of them when the mexashare plugin was updated, however today i decided to update JD on the fourth computer with bad results for the plugin so i ended up using the folder from one of the other computers. By the way the older version was from 2016.

The last change for plugin was from 16.01.2019 and no changes since then. also there are other users reporting same issues so it must be caused by mexashare site changes as there were no changes on JDownloader site.

There may be many reasons why older plugin works and current one does not. For example something we have fixed in the past and now they changed exactly that part again to something old and newer plugin doesn't handle that.

It seems that mexashare has just changed their domain to mx-sh.net, does this fix reflect this change?

There still is a problem with Mexashare - for some reason, plugin doesn't open the browser for solving the captcha no matter how long I wait or how many times I push "open browser" button o_O

Try to resetup your browser as default browser in windows.
