Please provide a logfile,see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
and post shown logID here.
Are you running on Mac? I've seen many of those lately and it looks like some other application update is incompatible with JDownloader.
Please provide a log.

Okay, common is that all are affected MAC users have Java 1.8 Update 161 (which is working fine for me). Do you have any other java applications installed on your system?
Could we do a teamviewer session? Send us an email to support@jdownloader.org
You can reach us Mo-Fr, from 9 to 17 o'clock , GMT+1 Germany

Hi,
i just installed last version of Java, i'm still having problem.
I have some other java apps, (tripleA) but nothing changed with them.
I'm not confident with teamviewer because of security problems.

Did you investigate on the error message i described in my first post (wrong return type in function ?

The error message happens because there is somewhere an older/incompatible version of this library in path. The error message is not the real error, it just shows up because of the error while loading the other library.
Teamviewer would easiest way to find the cause/fix this. I can understand your security concerns, but it's hard to help if we are unable to reproduce the issue

The issue is caused by some other software installed on your computer. So without Teamviewer there is not much we can do about it.
It seems there is a different java application on your computer that has installed older library version globally in system that conflicts with newer version that JDownloader is using.

The file in question is
/Library/Java/Extensions/
bcprov-jdk15-146.jar
bcmail-jdk15-146.jar
bctsp-jdk15-146.jar

Looks like on of those java apps has installed older bouncy castle version system wide, breaking java applications that require/use newer versions.
You should backup those files and then delete and check what application no longer runs so you know which one has installed them

Thanks for the feedback! In case you've found out what java application has installed those library in your system, would be good if you can provide feedback so we can try to reproduce the issue and maybe find workaround for it
