Proxy problem after windows hibernate
Hello,
After i put windows 10 on hibernate and restart it while keeping jdownloader open, my proxies are disabled with a red thumb. I have to disable/enable to proxies for them to have the green thumb again : 02.07.18 02.35.06 <--> 02.07.18 12.34.39 jdlog://3543064433151/ Last edited by mafourti; 02.07.2018 at 12:50. |

The network is not available directly after wakeup and JDownloader wants to use the connection and that fails. Wakeup is faster than establishing network connectivity
JDownloader doesn't *know* that it woke up from standby/hibernate and the connection looks broken to it. At the moment restart of JDownloader or disable/enable the connection is the only *workaround* for this

First we have to add sort of standby/hibernate detection so JDownloader knows when to treat these errors differently. But that requires some major internal changes so don't expect them any near future.

couldn't you just retry for like 5 times every few seconds when a connection error is detected ?

I'm sorry but connection errors are handled at much higher level and there is a timeout
(15 mins) but I will add special handling for those specific errors that happen when network connecivity is not available yet and use smaller timeout
