Default old text style

Hello,
I recently noticed a change in the text in Jdownloader, it is narrower and smaller than the previous one, when the text in the software was changed, with what update? There is an official changelog to see all the changes made to it

I remember that before June it had not yet changed and I sincerely preferred that

Thank you

might need to wait for Jiaz to respond, but I'm unaware of any changes to default font. You are able to change this yourself in advanced setting use filter 'font'.

the font type looks the same, the scaling might be different? did you change that at all? either that or padding might be different.

no, after an update the text was resized by itself

If you notice the image well, the text on the right is narrower and smaller than on the left

I preferred the text format of before sincerely

There have been no changes in JDownloader.

What java version are you using? This looks like Oracle Font Rendering vs OpenJDK Font Rendering
You can check about dialog. What OS are you using?

I'm using Windows 10 1803
I can say that the text change took place after jdownloader asked me to restart the software to install the update, at restart the text was smaller, which I sincerely preferred the previous one because it was detailed and wider

I remember it was an update at the end of May or beginning of June, you can check on those dates if in an update there was actually a change of text in the Italian version, I also remember that there had been an error in that font, which instead of say "download completato" said "download completat"

There has been no changes in font/gui since LONG time.

But there is an issue that after an update JD may not use the correct theme. Another restart of JDownloader will make it use the correct one again.

That's just a translation update and has no other effects

I'm sorry but there are many changes in italian translations this year. One change is from 24.05.2019 for example

Is that the date of updating the text in the Italian version? in the early days of June there are no other font updates

Where can I consult the various Jdownloader logs? So you can tell exactly where the problem is. Unfortunately I don't remember the exact date

then another thing,
when the downloads ended, the text said "completat" instead of "completato", I was wondering if the downloads could be corrupted in the software, or it is simply an error in the translation and does not have some effects on the download completed

Translations doesn't have any influence. They are just text. No other effects.
The language update you're taking about I made on 01.07.2019 from
Completat to Completato
No other changes that are connected to GUI.

Maybe you've changed font settings/size in windows? JDownloader will adapt them

so it was just an error in the text change in the May 24 update, no influence or bug in the software or in download?

It was just a wrong translation, yes, no other changes/influence.

I had made a screen to see the weight of some files in May, which I fortunately saved

The other screen instead made it in August to show the difference

and no other different installation

I'm sorry but I'm lost. There have been no changes and to me it looks like changed font settings.
Following ideas:
-changed font settings in OS
-OS/Java changes for HighDPI stuff
-changed font name/size in JDownloader
-graphic card settings stuff

I noticed now that there is also a small difference on "informazioni generali"

With the previous text it was written
pacchetto (i)
collegamento (i)

while with the text of now it is written

pacchetto/i
collegamento/i

there was a change of "()" with "/" in the software

here is a screen to note the difference:
https://imgur.com/a/lHoYKjP

As I said, surely there was a font change with the update. you can see now if you find the exact day of the update

There has been many translation changes for italian language but those don't change the font settings. I also checked for custom fonts but could not find any.

To be honest, to me this looks like HighDPI Stuff. The right is sharp while the left one might be scaled font.

No, it is not a highDPI, it is the font of the text that has changed, I have checked several installation videos on YT to see if it's just my problem, but even there the font is the same as mine. The May videos and the previous months have the old font, while from July onwards the text font is narrower and smaller than in May (unfortunately I have not found any June Italian installation video)

jiaz,
I only ask you for the last thing, you can check if there have been updates on 4.5 and 6 June. I think I remember that the update was made in those days

Thanks for nagging! I mean it. Because now I took a look at many many many many changes and finally found the guilty one A translator did translate the fontname *default* to *predefinito* which is causing the different font. I guess he/she didn't know that this one is NOT to translate.
Please wait for next core update and test it again

Ok, thank you very much for finding and solving the problem

What day had the update been done? In the days I listed above, on 4, 5 and 6 June or before
