Hi,
Is there an option to deactivate the annoying message which appears continuously when JD is offline and try to connect to update.appwork.org ? Thanks. |

Or disable in advanced settings: UpdateSettings.autoupdatecheckenabled

Or UpdateSettings.updateinterval could be increased from the default 60000 MS to 3600000 (1 hour) in this case.
By the way, the MS (milliseconds) usage makes sense here ? |

"no connection to the internet"
when downloads are running in the background (and new ones are started regularly), the message box title "no connection to the internet" is simply wrong.
when JD2 can't contact the update server (maybe because it is down), please retry silently in the background and do not bother the user by popping up the "no connection ..." every few seconds. if still unable to contact after some time (a day or so), maybe show an exclamation mark in the bottom right corner (or so). |

How to completely prevent JD2 from asking / updating
Because of issues with access to Core.jar, I would like JD2 to not update or even ask about it at all. I have disabled every setting I can find, but it still asks. This interferes with other things. I attach a screenshot of my Advanced Settings. What am I missing?
Thx Arbie |

Please, be patient. The issue will be asked to the developers.

I try to disable this setting too (actually update.appwork.org is not reachable).
But it doesn't help. How can I stop this popup bugging me? |

Should be fine now (or after the next round of updates).

For those that want it there should be a clear "no update" option.
I'm sure most are smart enough to know that when something stops working they can decide to manually update it. |

Yes, that's what I need. A simple way to tell JD2 that I will manually take care of main program updates and it should totally forget about them. |
