Default How to clear the cache?

I had a link list with about 100.000 files when I had to restart the computer due to windows update.

I stopped JDownloader before reboot, but when I start JDownloader again, the list is not visible. The program is busy with 25% CPU and very slow. I can not add new links or delete the old ones (which are not displayed). I had the program running 24 hours, but even then no links are displayed and the program is busy/slow. Switching between tabs takes 5-7 minutes...

Is there a way I can clear the link list BEFORE I start the program? I guess it must be cached somewhere on the machine.

Thanks in advance!

Most likely your JDownloader runs out of memory.
You can find the lists in your cfg folder, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...nkgrabber-list
Then you should increase your java heap memory settings, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showth...ight=vmoptions
Maybe also switch to 64bit java version, see https://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2
and see https://board.jdownloader.org/showpo...89&postcount=2 how use your existing settings/accounts/links

Thank you! Very helpful info.

On my machine the program is installed in C:/Users/USER/AppData/Local/JDownloader2 - is that normal?

Yes, that is default location
I would recommend to backup cfg folder, uninstall JDownloader and then install 64bit version and restore your cfg folder (do not merge the folder but completely replace with your copy/backup)
