Default How do I make JDownloader start up when I boot Windows 10?

As the question states, I would like JDownloader to open minimized when I start the PC much like Steam or TeamViewer.

you can create shortcut to JDownloader with -m as parameter to start JDownloader minimized. Check search engine of your choice how to add applications to autostart.
As this works differently with different OS/OS-Versions it's not supported out of the box

Thanks. I figured it out. If other apps can support it on Windows then why not JDownloader? Game clients, torrent applications, communication software - all support it.

Because we're a very small team and as I said it works complete different from OS to OS and even OS Version X to OS Version Y. It might be easy to do with other languages/directly calling specific OS functions but we would have to find out those functions ourselves and that for every OS/OS Version

Apparently, I couldn't get it to start minimized. Starting JDownloader on start up is simple. You have to create a shortcut of the exe (found: C:\Users\(User name)\AppData\Local\JDownloader 2.0 by right clikcing it.

Copy the exe to the start up folder (Press Win+R and type 'shell:startup'). Voila! The application will start with Windows.

My problem is that the application isn't minimized when it is started which is important to me.

Could you help me out, Jiaz?

You can append -m parameter for *start minimized* to the exe
Start minimized should also work fine, but required the trayicon extension to be enabled

Appending "-m" did the trick. Thanks!
