Default package properties set download directory moves already downloaded files

when I right-click a package and go to Properties in the context menu and go to Set download directory and set a new directory, all the already downloaded files get moved to the newly set directory

shouldn't there be at least some warning / confirmation message? I just want to change the *download* directory, not move already existing files

Then you should move the links into a new package with different folder.
When you change the folder for a package, then all files that got downloaded will be moved. Because without moving extraction/fileexists/... will be broken.

I understand there is some logic behind it, but at least I should have been warned that this will happen, otherwise the application performs changes on my HDD without me knowing or wanting it.

Its difficult to make all happy. Before we did not move the files and all were complaining they no longer can find their files (because forgot they changed folder/what the old folder was) and now the first customer that does not want to move the finished files
