Default Any way to fix openload's daytime restriction on using downloaders like jdownloader?

It seems that during "peak hours" aka during the day openload does not allow using downloaders like jdownloader to download files. You have to manually download from the site or else you get an error in jdownloader. Is there any way jdownloader can possibly fixed to get around this so it looks like a browser to openload?

Again:
We know what the problem is.
We know what causes it.
We have no time/manpower to fix it at the moment.

Either wait or download via their website or see if you temporarily find other DL managers that can download from this filehost.

See the last post of user jtcgiants56 - this is exactly what they do.

If you don't like it, please contact their support and ask them to not do this anymore. Good luck.

Is there a way to get Mozilla Firefox to send downloads directly to JD? For example FlashGot has an option to do that.

I currently use right click, copy link location and have clipboard detector add the links to JD. What I want is to single LEFT CLICK to start download, instead of in Mozilla, straight to JD.

@madcowpig
Nope - you will need to use some kind of browser addon for this

Thanks for the answer, psp. You don't even know how long I was looking for a setting through Mozilla and Google. Now I can rest knowing there's no way.

Wow, that's great news. The way mrc has been hyping it up, it sounds like this new my.jdownloader.org update, is going to be amazing.

You can use Jdownloader CnL API in 'Redirector' (by Einar Egilsson) addon/extension, available for both chrome and firefox browsers.

I was actually looking through the browser extension before I asked. It seems to be really minimal at the moment and relies on my.jdownloader.org, for the most part.

Use regex pattern to capture the url and redirect it to:

Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**

You then have to just click on the link. If you need further help you can catch me in CHAT.

I also use FlashGot. and in the picture that you uploaded you can chose to ALT+Click and the link is send to JD2. that's what i do: simply everything that i want to download i hold the alt-key and click on it. only problem is that recently it started to open multiple instances of JD2.

OT: openload.co loads 31MB of a file and then throws a SHA1 error. enybody noticed that or is it just me? (sometimes it works too)

That's a sign that firewall/av block instance handling of JDownloader. JDownloader is not able to communicate/know that JDownloader is already running. Please check those

This 31mb file is a video from openload which has pigeons in it! Says Openload doesn't allow downloads like this!

@psp any plans to fix this?

This is the same problem I started having the past couple of days. It doesn't happen with every link for me either, just some of them.

Thanks for the advice, but I already knew this. The FlashGot extension comes with that option turned on and as you can see from my picture, I turned it off. The reason is, I use the alt. key for other purposes and when using that function with JD, it puts for example, ten .part.rar files, into ten separate packages, instead of one. My preferred way of using FlashGot with JD, is to use "ctrl tab" to switch between tabs quickly and hit left click to get to the direct download links. Then, use "FlashGot Tabs" to add them to JD. I've made a rule to grab only links with "stream" in it, to filter out any extra stuff FlashGot grabs or if FlashGot accidentally adds the original URL, versus the direct link. This way is quicker than the method you use and it puts all my files into one package. My question wasn't for FlashGot or shortcut keys, it was for me to just use left click alone. Thanks again for the advice, I appreciate the effort.

URLs posted in the forum - for good reason - are visible only to supporters, while in chat, they can be exchanged freely via PM. Also, I prefer chat as I find it to be faster and more inconvenient. You can install/enable the chat extension in JD or use JD WEB CHAT without the need for any registration.

You can contact me via PM or Chat, whichever you find more convenient.

Out of curiosity, what are the reasons? So this site isn't considered a file sharing site? For user privacy? Also, you can easily bypass it.

I think you meant, "convenient". I agree with you here, chat type communication is faster. I'll try it first.

Yes, I did mean to write 'convenient'. I noticed your nick in the chat room and pinged you. Seems you quit the chat a while after that.

Even thou it's marked as closed, It's still an issue.
The real problem is that when it loads the 31MB video it recognizes it as a CRC error and moves on. If you have a mirror link it will use it instead, but if it's the only link it stops there.

i would like for JD to check if the previous filesize is the same as the filesize while currently downloading and if they mismatch, throw a error that sets a 1 hour wait-time. It shouldn't always download the 31MB video.

BTW if openload found a way to block JD, what stops all the other OCHs to do the same.

Having issues with OL too. Seems to be when attempting to get the streaming link from the OL site first and then use that in JD2. That was the way we had to do it before. Should we not do that anymore? TIA
