Default www.lolabits.es, abelhas.pt....slower speeds using JD

Let me explain what the problem is: lolabits, abelhas, minhateca...are different websites managed by the same company and all of them use the same servers. They offer awesome download speeds but sometimes (since several weeks ago) the download speed decreases considerably for a couple of hours (sometimes even for a complete day).

That problem is happening right know, and there is nothing JD can do about it. However, I have realized that if I try downloading something with JD when this download issue is hapenning, I get slower speeds than with other download managers.

For example, I have just tried to download these files

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

I started downloading the first 2 files (001 and 002). With JD and with 20 chuncks per each, I got speeds between 600 kbps-1.50 MB/S (when the download problem is not happenning, I usually download at my maximum speed just downloading a file at the time with 5 chuncks). I tried using FREEDOWNLOADMANAGER with the same files and, with 10 chuncks per file, I manage to get speeds between 2.7 MB/S-3.5 MB/S.

It seems that JD cannot get the same speed like the others, even when that issue is happenning. Would be any way to fix this? Thanks.

Just tested 1 file with 1 chunk (JD2) - was constantly about 400 KB/s.
As stated in many other threads, speed issues are no JD issues - JD downloads as fast as any other downloadmanager.
There is no difference other than that others might allow using more chunks - we limit it to 20.

Its very weird. Now if I put 2 files downloading with 10 chuncks per each, I get my maximum download speed. However, if I put downloading 5 files with the same amount of chuncks per each, I barely get the half of my maximum speed? Would not have to go at the same speed as well?

EDIT: Now I tried a different configuration (5 parallel downloads, 3 chunks per file) and I get even lower speeds. xD

Maybe its just the server problem. I will keep you informed in the following days.

Don't ask me - its probably their servers.#Maybe this is how they punish users if they open "too many" connections.

Don´t think so. I did the same several minutes after writing my previous message and that time it worked perfectly with same configuration.

Looks exactly like a server issue.

Very appreciated. The server seems to not to get good speeds with parallel downloads. I tried to download the files I posted here as example links and I get awful speeds putting more than 1 file downloading at the same time. Its weird.

Excuse me, but has been this fix added to the program? I am still not able neither to resume downloads nor use multiple chuncks.

Resume & chunks have been disabled in JD because their servers did not support this (anymore).
