First of all we already have support for this website, but our next major version is required because they deliver the video by rtmp protocol.

So you will need to wait for the next major update to be able to use this.

I'll get bismark to have a look at the decrypter plugin as its throwing exceptions.

I tried to update JD a couple of times and I still get the same error. I also tried to use the Beta 2 version but I couldn't get it to work their either (nothing actually happens after parsing the link).

Actually, I think that JD updated itself automatically or something. I used JD now to download a video off that website and it worked flawlessly. All the video formats were available to download and everything.

I can't download from Shahid.mbc.net. It says Decrypter out of date. I update the software almost every 5 min to check for new updates.

I just tried it now. It didn't work for a couple of hours giving me an Operation timeout error in the log but I think that's because the website was too slow (even accessing it through the browser was just not possible, pinging it timed out too).

Now, it works fine without timeouts but the video it fetches is not the main video playing on the page, rather one of the videos in the playlist.

has the third episode of one of the series showing on MBC. The playlist underneath it has the first two episodes. When I copy that link and open JD, the LinkGrabber (or by adding URL) gets the video for the second episode rather than getting the one for the third episode. Is it possible that they changed the way they handle the videos now :s ?

So I'm trying it again today. Now it gives me the same error as my first post on this thread. If I want to download the video at the link

When a plugin is fixed or a new plugin is made you always have to wait for it to get released so that you can use it.
Updates are usually released every 7-14 days.
You can check if updates have been released by comparing the date of the last released update on our changelog with the current date.
If the changelog page is broken you can find the changelog HERE.
Please note that only Jiaz and coalado can release updates!

If you can't wait you can try the JDownloader 2 BETA (see my signature down belog).
The BETA gets the updates directly without any waittimes.

Oh I see. The thing is that after .bismarck issued the fix as a response to my first post, I tried the stable JD version and it worked flawlessly. Then whenever I tried using it later on, I was always given the decrypter out of date error. So I though that the update was released sometime before I used it then maybe that website changed their protocol or something afterwards.

Sorry for the confusion. I can also confirm that the decrypter works just fine in the beta version for JD.

I can't see the link in post 29 (only visible to Supporters) but when I try to use JD2 BETA to download the video at the following link

nothing happens. Nothing as in JD takes the link and doesn't show the list of videos in the LinkGrabber window. I also tried many other links off the same website, even some that I was able to download before using JD2 BETA, and none of them work now. I then did a fresh install of JD2 BETA using the jar updater method on Mac OS X and the windows installer method in Win 7, still got the same result: no videos appear in the LinkGrabber to download.

Not sure what's going on though as I couldn't reach to the log window like in the STABLE version. All I have is the jdlog number from the "Create a Log" window which is jdlog://1343359294111.

Do I need to start a new thread to discuss this issue or keep using this thread ?

I have been using JD (the stable version not the BETA one) for 2 days now to download videos off this website without a problem. I think the plugin update took place a couple of days ago or something. I thought I'd wait for a couple more days before reporting back to you guys that it's working but then I started getting the decrypter out of date message again. Now all works fine again.
