I am using latest Debian with KDE.

I'd like to rightclick the tray icon in the bottom right and have the context menu shown. Mainly so that I can quickly enable and disable the silent mode.

Right click, double right click, left click, double left click all do nothing.

Only hovering the mouse over the icon shows "JavaEmbeddedFrame".

I am not sure if this would be more a feature request than a bug. It would be really nice if this could get fixed.

What java version do you use? Please try oracle java instead of openjdk.
Xserver or Wayland? Wayland not fully supported yet by java.
Rightclick should open the trayicon menu

Sorry, but I don't want to use any proprietary software. I don't want to use Oracle JDK. It would be cool if it would fully work with OpenJDK too.

I can only ask to test oracle jdk. This is nothing we can fix/workaround. I can only tell that oracle jdk works better in some window managers than openjdk.
