For all of you complaining about missing passwords or a missing extraction extension:
  1. Exit JD
  2. delete the tmp folder
  3. open jd
  4. Everything is back

We are working on this extensioncache problem right now. So this problem should solve itself with one of the next updates

I am having the same problem. Starts and tries to update, stays at 0 finally gives an error saying can't connect to the update server make sure you are connected to internet. Click OK and get another error saying that an error occurred while trying to start, click ok or details. I even get the same exact error log or details that you have attached.

The Problem has been fixed in the meantime - you don't have to delete anything

Default Archive Extractor gone

Since the last update the Archive Extractor is gone from jDownloader, it doesn't auto-extract, the option is gone from the right-click menu and gone as a settings-pane.

Settings image.

Using the latest versions of everything on OS X.

make manual Update, or delate the /tmp Folder in your JD install Directory.
Than restart JD.

I have the same problem, my settings window is gone. Unfortunately, manual update and deleting the tmp folder DID NOT help :(

Any tips?

@ AyaxSK

Would a teamviewer session be an option? That would help us a lot

Default No Settings / No Passwort after Update

Hey,

same problem as in other thread, but deleting the tmp-folder doesnt bring it back. It only erases my download list.

How can I do a manual update? Or will you guys fix it in the near future?

Greetings

Hey,

after the update and java-update there are the settings back, but I still can't set a password.

What can I do?

Deleting tmp-folder will erase my hole download list... :(

And unpacking isn't working too...

Your download lists are in the folder CFG
And you can copy the tmp folder in another path if you want, and then delete it from the install directory of JD.

and @coalado, I know that you are a busy person, but when you have time could you please see this issue?: http://board.jdownloader.org/showpos...93&postcount=5

.

I am sorry, but this isn't working:

I am changing the name of tmp or cutting it out and there are no more downloads in my jDownloader 2.

So this with the cfg can't be the only truth...

Beside that, it won't give me the Password-Feature back
