Default nicovideo.jp

Hi, since around yesterday, JD2 has failed to pick up files from nicovideo.jp
it shows ? in availability, please fix it, thanks.

Please be aware that there are two types of link in nico, one starts with sm, which requires an account,
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

the other starts with so or numbers, which does not require an account
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
or
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

I believe the problem is not related to login, so if you can fix it with those public links, I am sure those login links will be alright.
However, in any case if you need an account, please let me know and I am happy to PM mine to you.

It will be great if the bug can be fix in 2-3days time, because those public links are usually free to public for 1 week only, after that they are only available to paid members....

Many Thanks

hi
the plugin supports sm, so, nm, and without prefix
links add, linkchecking is done
on download error should be shown to user, and error handling should pick it up.

if you have error please upload log from session, https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs

Hi,
yes I know the plugin well as I have been using it since 2012, and thanks for that :D
but since yesterday, JD2 just cannot detect any nico link, therefore cannot download anything
In linkGrabber, file name cannot be detected, size is unknown, Availability is ? 0/1 online
Please check
thanks

free non account linkchecking still works
fixed linkchecking for free account
todo: premium linkchecking & download check

see what I can do about the rest tomorrow

For me, the public so links (account not required) are not working
but for some reason, long videos (90+mins) do work fine such as:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
perhaps because they are stored in a different server? I don't know

maybe, jd doesn't care about the prefix from the getgo, the id number is transferable or that is how I read the plugin source.

I'll try and fix the rest of the plugin before I goto bed tonight.

Thanks raztoki!
I did not know that jd doesn't care about the prefix.
As I was the one reported here a few years ago, when jd only picked up sm links but not so links. Since then i thought it is relevant. Thanks for the update.
Again, many thanks for fixing the issue.

@antonio8909
that provided url is geoblocked. I've added handling for it

@sp2000321
tried your link, yes they terminate the connection. I assume due to lack of feedback.
for some reason we have silly chunk resetting code. I'll remove it for now, jd will retry until complete. I need to talk to appwork about feedback thread while downloading.

Hi raztoki.

I tried with a Japanese proxy and it says the same :/

Do I need to wait for an update or this can't be fixed?

@antonio8909
its the same message in browser, you will need to find a connection that isn't blocked. It's nothing that we can fix, as its a hoster side restriction

@sp2000321
I did change code, so there would been an update just your not normally notified of plugin updates.

Code:
Revision 37382
Added by raztoki about 10 hours ago

Fixed: nicovideo.jp, - refs #83904
- geoblocked content - re: https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?p=404143#post404143
- removed silly chunk resetting code.
- login for loop reduced to 3 tries
- incorrect login (user:pass), and it's never going to work... prevent loop.

@antonio8909

maybe you need a proper referrer?
just have to remember if its the same behaviour in browser it's definitely not going to work in JDownloader.

The VPN is a proper referrer.

Anyway, I'll try to search the video in another page or give it up. It's so annoying.

Thanks for your support anyway

@antonio8909
no referrer isn't that
its a browser request (where you came from prior to the last request)

if it works for you with VPN within browser let me know. I was not able to view that link myself in my test in JD or browser.

I can download videos without issues so I guess Raztoki is right and this is not a JD / plugin issue.

its not the 3 video links, its the one he provided in his original post
it shows up here in Australia as geoblocked, I need to use Japanese proxy and figure it out.

Hm indeed it is geoblocked ... but why should the download fail if you'd try to download it from via japanese IP?

@pspzocker: modern geo location not only uses the IP netflix for example also evaluate the latency and check if it is reasonable for given location

my findings.
nicovideo geolocation seems to work based on whois ip owners registered address, and not the physical geolocation. I logged in with japanese IP though subnet was owned by an american company, it showed up as american (account login history, shows you this)

@Jiaz
I know, just didnt know that nicovideo does this.

Questioin still is, what is supposed to be different for that video ...
Maybe a html snippet is enough to fix it.

Hi raztoki,
there are still some issues :(
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
With this link, jd says "skipped, account missing" while I can download other nico videos
30.07.17 13.52.44 <--> 30.07.17 13.53.54 jdlog://4833214015941/

Also, when a file is still downloading but stopped due to whatever reason (such as too many connections), I am not able to resume that but only restart from 0%...

Thanks

I noticed your account the other day expired so its now 'free account', so that error message can be when you require premium account if your using your free account.
resuming should be possible, I have yet to find a server which doesn't allow it.
I'll check your log shortly.

You are right but that is not the case here.
If a premium account is required, there will be a Premium icon "有料" in gold colour, and a fee is mentioned in the video description.
For example there are a few premium videos on this page, which can be easily identified.
