[In progress] random "File Not Found" for megaupload - JDownloader Community

JDownloader 7.504 for Mac

at random some of the megaupload links will give the "File not found" error, but the thing is that i open the links in Firefox/Safari, all the links still works.

what i do now is that i just reset the links and it will continue to download, but only for a while. after a while it would start the whole "file not found" thing all over again.

Same problem for me with Xp sp3. The program checks in the linkgrabber taht megaupload files are ok, but when it has to download them says that file is not found. I try to continue download and retry it but don´t work. It´s only with megaupload, rapidshare works ok.

best is to make a wireshark dump with 0.6 and one with 0.8 and send both to me

that would be okay, but remember wireshark needs root rights

so i think it would be easier for you to create a wireshark dump

I use the latest JD version (0.8.324) and imho probably the error is due to megaupload: I found that when you download a lot from megaupload it can block your ip temporarily (megaupload says 5 minutes). Now JD being unable to download in this short time it gives the "File not found" error for all your megaupload links.
Infact if I resume the megaupload downloads after these 5 minutes all works as it should.
I hope this annoying issue can be fixed as soon as possible... :/

I didn't really understand when exactly megaupload applies the restriction.
Is it ok for you if I send a long wireshark usage report?
I mean, can you found the error by yourself?

Then I saw a short wireshark log has a big size, there would be the problem how I can send to you the dump...
Any suggestions?

"Good" news:
I found the famous screen where Megaupload says is temporarily blocking downloads and it seems the reason is JDownloader itself!!!

Look at the screen:

Now if I enable and resume all my megaupload downloads after this block (so in this case after 25 minutes) all works good otherwise JDownloder in this time lapse gives the "File not found" error.

I've never had a megaupload premium account.

I agree with you: it's a really big annoying issue, because you left the pc to download, then, when you return to check, you find all downloads have been disabled

Do you often change your ip? I have a static IP.

Probabily MU sometimes blocks some IPs...:outch:

Edit: Is there any way for JD to automatically reconnect after a pre-selected time interval? If yes, that would be a quick temporary solution to this issue imho.

Hi,

I am using version 0.8.821
I am megaupload premium member, and I do have problem of "file not found". even the file is there.

I use to to use magaupload manager and have no problem.
I want to switch to jdonloader because of all option it has.

the tread said it is been solved.

The problem still seem to be there.

I have another problem with MU expect that "File Not Found" its slow speed, like on netload...JD download only 10, 20kb/s but when I download with browser everything goes down with 300kbs...

p.s great job with "file not found" problem

Please, note that there are differences in the quality of speed metering in different software. You should use a good stop watch or dedicated traffic metering software in order to measure the real speeds.

Do you have a premium account?

Did you allow java.exe, javaw.exe and JDownloader in your firewall?

Do you have a virus scanner? Un-install it temporarily.

till yestrday everything with MU was ok...only MU has this speed slowdown...

speed slowdown comes always from hoster, internetconnection or your pc, NOT from JD

you already said it, yesterday everything was fine

besides, there has not been any update

and speed fast/slow can always change from minute to minute (even second to second)

i have 3 version of jdownloader install because v.8 doesn't display chinese chars
when using latest v.8 i have this problem too
using v.6 doesn't have this problem, when download limit exceed it will wait until it can continue to download, and not like v.8 when sometime it display file not found this problem cause all the queue not to download until someone manually reset it.
and it is not solve too, just use v.8 yesterday and got this problem, switch to v.6 and got all my queue download overnight

06 uses api only, 08 uses api and homepage
we changed this because api often reported offline files online or online files as offline

update with workaround is not out yet.
