Cool

Allow java.exe and javaw.exe in your firewall and virus software. Also disable the html/web scanner in your virus software.

Also, check that your Max.Con. setting in the bottom right corner of your jD window is set to 1 or 2.

Did you change the hardware settings (over-clocking, RAM/memory voltage) of your computer? If yes, reset them to their default values.

java allowed.
Max Con. = 1, Max Dls. = 1, Speed = 0.
I didn't overclock my comp.

I dont think its firewall, how it can be firewall problem if after restarting the jDownloader I can download the freezed file normally.
Also, the files are downloaded from same servers again and again.

You think it's not your firewall. I would check that again if I were you. Do you have a virus software?

If all software is configured properly and double checked, please wait for a developer's analysis.

Shutting down a virus software is not sufficient. Did you restart your computer after you did that?

It's almost certain that Avast is causing this trouble. Try to disable the web/http scanner of Avast because it slows down your downloads. Files also get scanned when they are on disk.

Also be sure that you allow java.exe and javaw.exe not only in your firewall but also in your Avast virus.

If it happens again, please completely un-install your virus and restart your computer to check whether it is the cause.

Also, the files are downloaded from same servers again and again.

I experienced this when my Internet Security detected Malware in the download.

The first time.. Kaspersky Internet Security asked me what to do .. i was unsure, so i selected "block". What happened next was exactly as you are describing. The download would never finish. It kept restarting.

Why? because Kaspersky was blocking it.

The Second time.. i re-downloaded the file.. Kaspersky alerted me again.. BUT this time.. i clicked on "ignore" .. and the download finished

So i would say:
1. Stop the download
2. Go into your Anti-Virus, select "Ask me what to do EVERYTiME Malware is detected" (Otherwise.. your Anti-Virus will block the download automatically in the background.. without you realizing)
3. Restart your computer
4. Now try to redownload .. and make sure your Anti-Virus does not block the file.

Default Freezes is real

I can confirm what the fella said. And not only rapidshare, but megaupload too. The thing is when the bug happen I'm not able to download nothing because it's "connecting" or "downloading" all the time and the bandwitch is active like if it was really downloading something, but nothing about the file being downloaded. The only fix is by restarting the PC. This bug also mess up with the browsers, because when I click in a link to download something, the dialog box to choose the destination of the file only show when the download is already complete. It's like downloading in cache mode or something. Again, only restarting the PC solve the bug. Another example: when this bug happen, the videos in YouTube don't start to play until they're complete loaded. Very very weird bug.
