Default Confirm Incomplete Archive Action not working

(Windows 10 x64; JD2 Core Ver #47256)

For many years JD2 did a great job of telling me when a link set of RAR pieces was missing some. Then I could look for those on another host etc.

But for at least a couple of months this feature hasn't been working. JD2 will cheerfully add an incomplete set of links to the download list with no notification that some pieces are missing.

In Advanced "GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings" I have "Confirm Incomplete Archive Action" set to "Ask me". Same as always.

Does anyone know: Is this a bug / will be fixed when new Core is avail as update / a setting I should change?

20.03.23 16.24.45 <--> 20.03.23 16.27.03 jdlog://0024311370661/

Source of links (multihost) - select and copy all of them:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**...

After JD2 Linkgrabber parses the links, Split by Hoster. Then start downloading the link set from "Workupload.com", which is missing some RAR parts.

My JD2 will start downloading these without warning me that some are missing. Always in the past it would warn me.

Thanks!

Please post those example URLs again.
They've been lost permanently due to a rare forum bug.
EDIT

You might want to put them into a textfile and attach this to your next reply.

Didn't notice the edit until later. Attached is a text file of links to Multi-host service.

Select and copy all of them. After JD2 Linkgrabber parses the links, Split by Hoster. Then start downloading the link set from "Workupload.com", which is missing some RAR parts.

My guess is that you disabled extraction and/or the extract addon in JD.
Go to Settings -> Archive extractor
Make sure that this is enabled. Extraction does nopt need to be enabled to make this check work but the archive extractor itself needs to be enabled!

You're right - I had the un-checked the main Settings left-side "Archive Extractor" box because I decided to extract manually for a while. When that is check-marked, JD2 warns me if a host does not have all parts of an archive AND if I just select the host name and then "Start Downloads".

FYI, JD2 does not warn me if I manually select all the parts that the host offers, then deselect one. Or, equivalently, manually select parts and miss one. But this would of course be rare.

I suggest that JD2 should warn on missing RAR parts even if the Archive Extractor is not checkmarked. I occasionally don't want extraction but I always want that check. And I'm not going to remember that in such cases I should leave the Extractor enabled but instead disable extraction within its settings ie. at "Extract archives after download (default value)".

Thanks

@Arbie: You did disable the whole extraction extension and therefore JDownloader no longer can access/make use of its funcationality.

Check Archives is part of the Extension and not of Core JDownloader. With extension disabled, it's not loaded and JDownloader cannot access it/make use of any of its features/classes/methods.

Leave the extension enabled and just disable auto extraction in it to not use JDownloader for auto extraction.
