Default Do only one decrypt/unrar at a time

Hello,

i know that jDownloader is capable of unrar, decrypting YouTube and e.g. decrypting mega.nz files. Sadly it tries to do all 3 of them at the same time. An as I'm using it on a quite old harddrive connected to a raspberry, the multi-write/read blocks nearly everything.

I instead would like jDownloader do always only ONE decrypt/unrar job at a time. Is there somewhere a setting which i can achieve that behavior?

Unfortunately not at the moment but you can try to change
Settings-Advanced Settings-Extraction.cpupriority to lowest value

You also might wanna try to increase
Settings-Advanced Settings-GeneralSettings.maxbuffersize to maybe 2000 or 3000

What filesystem do you use? I'm asking because NTFS uses much more CPU than native ext4/linux filesystems

it is running on Raspbian, so therefore it's ext4 as a filesystem.

I think the main problem isn't actually the CPU load, it rather more the multiple simultaneous read/write operations on the SD Card (it's a 64GB one) that are throttling it so extreme.

Is there a plan/idea to integrate such a feature in further versions?

The issue is very likely caused by SD Card as those are not meant for high IO because normal workload is sequentiel read/write.
At the moment there are no plans for such a feature. Did you try to change the suggested advanced settings?
