Default Downloaded file can't be found, it disappears!

I'm running JD on Mac(10.4.11, JRE 1.5.0). I set it up and download a file that's 8.15 MB as a test. It seems to have worked fine but the file never shows up in the download folder.

What am I missing here?

Cool

Did you look in the default download folder?

Was it an archive that was extracted (by jD Unrar) into a different folder?

Did you perform a disk search?

Same problem here, mac 10.6.3. I'm a first time user so maybe i'm doing something wrong. I try extracting and it works (I can even start the movie with the incomplete file). When the file completes though, it just disappears from the folder. I did a disk search and checked various folders where I thought it could have gone but nothing...

Please check your settings on the package and link for download directory.
Check your settings for jdunrar (Settings tab -> Plugins & Addons -> Extensions -> JD-unrar.
Make sure that "Use customized extraction path" and "Delete parts or compressed files after extraction" are both unchecked (not ticked).

In the advanced settings, make sure Use Subpath is not set.

If you are still having a problem, please post links and a log.
