JD2 Linkgrabber not coming to top w new links
This is on Win7 32-bit. I updated JD2 today for the first time in about a week.
I always add links via right-click on a web page and "Copy" or "Copy link address". In the past, Linkgrabber would see these; become the active tab in JD2; and bring JD2 to be the top window (per the User Interface setting for this). Now, Linkgrabber does not bring JD2 to the top. It processes the new links normally, but JD2 stays behind other windows. Not only that, I can't even force JD2 to the top until all the links are processed. If I close all other windows I can see and react with JD2 normally, but it insists on being the rear-most / bottom window. The first time this happened today I checked the User Interface setting for "When new links are added". It had somehow been changed to "do nothing". So I re-set it to "show linkgrabber in front of all windows". That did not have any effect. So I think something has become broken in the window mgt... Thx |

Thanks for the reply.
All the settings mentioned are enabled. Linkgrabber still doesn't always come to the top but I have more info now: it happens when LG is still grabbing some old or broken links along with usable ones. So this isn't a significant problem; more of an FYI at this point. I think it is new behavior as I never noticed it before. |

Can't edit my last reply (?)
More clearly - it looks like LG now does not come to the top until it's done capturing links, instead of when it starts capturing. |

Can you show screenhot of your settings -> Settings->Graphical Userinterface
Maybe some change caused this, so we can try to reproduce

Also, I now realize that the symptoms described in my original post are two separate issues which appeared to be related but perhaps aren't.
One is that LG delays becoming the active tab until it is done grabbing links. The second was that I could not force JD2 to be the top window during this time. BUT that happens only if I have Windows Explorer open on top of JD2, viewing a folder of .part files already being downloaded. Evidently the Explorer window, having active content, is harder to override. JD2 will come to the top over this but not while it is grabbing links. Last edited by Arbie; 30.08.2015 at 19:59. |

Possible to do Teamviewer for this?
There are 2 issues when I understand right... 1.) JD not coming to top when adding links 2.) not able to get JD manually to top?
