Default New beta BBC radio Iplayer yields no downloads bbc.co.uk

BBC radio is apparently trialing a new beta player. It functions significantly differently from the current one and doesn't give JDownloader usable files to download. Some URL types from which jDownloader used to pick up downloadable programs yield no additions to the download list - jdownloader does not find anything. Such as:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** (even 'analyze text with links' produces nothing)

On the regular current BBC radio page with such links the audio plays on that page and JDL finds a file to download.

In a new BBC feature, clicking "Listen Now" on that page above takes one to a new player page. When JDL analyzes these type links, it finds only an "offline" file:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Nothing can be downloaded from either the first or second page.

The beta player is not in wide use -- most current BBC radio iPlayer downloads work fine from the first type of URL above. A few shows using the new beta player include:

Patricia Highsmith; Cry of the Owl
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

What Ho Jeeves: Joy in the Morning
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Thank you for the wonderful product that is JDownloader.

Default Formerly beta has gone live

Just a note that when I posted this thread originally, the new format was in beta on only a small part of BBC Radio iPlayer.

The new format has now gone live over apparently the whole of BBC radio iPlayer, so JDownloader doesn't work at all on BBC radio now.

Just letting you know. I realize there's a lot to work on but wanted to document this.

Thanks for the great product that is JDownloader.

Hurray - now works for me.
THANKYOU

Different PC so I downloaded jdownloader again,
I had to load the "Play link" web address from BBC radio (ie the page that the old weblinks now take you to , one stage further than before. All is clear if you try to play a radio link)
Then I needed to upload an FFMpeg (or similar name) update to JD2 - which was is just saying OK to the JDprompt.
Then after a restart of JD it worked great.

First - thanks for the work on JD but while it seemed to work on all pages at first, it now only works on some pages. Nor sure why some, not others.

Weblinks:
So a program page link used to be like this.
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
6 months ago that link worked with JD.
To play the link direct we clicked the big Listen Now button.
and it played with no change of webpage.

FRom a few months ago clicking the Listen Now button takes one to another page where the radio show is played.
Here for example.
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

In the past the "programes" pages worked with JD. Now it is the "Sounds/play" links that make JD work (sometimes).

That in itself is not really a practical problem.

Some links work - some don't:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** leads to
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
which will not generate a link for JD.

This: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
Leads on to the Sounds play link:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
and JD does react to it

Both are for RAdio4, and I can't work out what makes one broadcast (actually one series of broadcasts) JD downloadable and another not downloadable.

Thanks guys

I presume the links I wrote are visible to key staff. If not Google
bbc 15 minute drama dead heading
and : bbc Middle England episode 5
