Default [NOT a JD bug] Link URL not recognized

I'm trying to download the following link, but it doesn't seem to be recognized as a valid URL by the LinkGrabber:
HTML Code:
cdn-11.eft-store.com/client/live/distribs/0.13.5.1.26215_9c2c288b-6729-4620-be8d-5e3147d9db99/Client.0.13.5.1.26215.zip
P.S. I just discovered the directhttp trick, and with that it worked. (But still not sure why it would ignore this link, which has a clear zip file extension.)

This link is working just fine here even without the "directhttp" trick.

I'll have to wait until the download is finished, to turn on debug mode (don't want to interrupt it), but here's another link from the same site that doesn't work:
HTML Code:
cdn-11.eft-store.com/client/live/distribs/0.13.5.1.26198_a198884c-03ff-4cef-a19f-c4a3edc283c4/Client.0.13.5.1.26198.zip
The 'Continue' button in the LinkGrabber window is grayed out until I put a 'direct**External links are only visible to Support Staff** prefix in it: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

So did you try to add the link without "http" like you'Ve posted it here in the forum?

If I add the link like this, it's working just fine:
pastebin.com/raw/eEShvpva

I copied the links exactly the way I posted them here (i.e. without any protocol prefix). And yes, it works if I add **External links are only visible to Support Staff**
Here's my log link: 14.09.23 16.28.44 <--> 14.09.23 16.30.14 jdlog://5377311370661/

That is the problem:

JDownloader can't recognize such links.
Just think about it:
Without protocol, that string of text could be anything - it could also be an FTP link.

Links without protocol were never supported.
Who is posting links in such a format? Or did you for some reason remove the protocol before copying them?
EDIT

Just for clarification:
We are posting links without protocol in this forum because our forum software is setup to hide links from non-moderators so if we want a user to see a link, we need to remove the protocol.

Normally, if no protocol is provided, it is assumed to be http(s).
After all, my browser has no problems interpreting such links.
But anyway, if the workaround is to add a protocol, then I guess I will have to do that from now on.

Your browser assumes you enter in to the address bar its either http and or https (depending on browser, chrome based browser typically try https first). The thing is JD monitors clipboard and addlinks dialog to match against plugins regex and without protocols proceeding its just text. I'm quite sure this wont ever change, you will need to come up wiht a solution that adds a protocol prefix when coping the url/text, might be possible with a browser extension and listen to domain or given url structure.

I've marked tis one as "Solved" as this is clearly not a JDownloader bug.

As explained by raztoki, if you want to add URLs without protocol, you will need to find a solution which will apply the protocol to such links before adding them to JDownloader.
