[MEGA.NZ] Misleading "Skipped - Account is Missing" Message
Hello, since a few days now I'd been getting sporadically this message right before starting a download from MEGA.NZ, which usually went away after "resetting" the downloads. This time, I stumbled upon a download, which will always show that message, disregarding the "reset" effects. I tried with an old "JD2" version I had around (05/04/2024), and it shows me an expected "509" message instead. In both cases, I'm not using any accounts at all.
I leave you the problematic download link: Code:

It seems (reported by users) that large files cannot be download with no/free accounts and previously it repeated in 509 errors. That's why new Setting got introduced, see Settings->Plugins->mega.nz (there are two entries for folder and downloads) and there you can disable this new feature and let JDownloader try/repeat 509 error, see

Regarding that limit, it wasn't really never clear to me at all, since while sometimes I simply get a "509" message for that kind of "single" big files and can't download, others I'm able to download just fine, and that's why I just disabled the new option right after noticing the changes, but it it seems it was re-enabled by one of the last "JD2" updates. I disabled it again.
By the way, I think I have talked about it before, but just in case you could do it, it would be very useful to make the MEGA plugin be able to download files partially (1,5 or until 5 GB per IP being the usual limits), since that way users can still download full files freely, by using VPNs/proxies. Thanks. Last edited by ElCho; 21.07.2024 at 14:45. |

@ElCho: underlying issue is caused by this https://board.jdownloader.org/showpo...33&postcount=2
You had to disable the setting again because I split settings from one entry into two ones (for folder settings and download settings) and that did reset your previous settings. I will try to change plugin settings storage to not reset on future changes
