JD2: 'Disable' menu item not switching to 'Enable' after editing menu
Using JD2 (May 04 14:20:15 CEST build).
When I right click on a disabled item in the Downloads table, the context menu entry shows Disable, instead of Enable. But it does enable when selected. |

Works fine for me. Can you provide a screenshot? Is only one link selected or multiple?

In case of Multiple Links selected. It depends on where you rightclick
Selecting an enabled and disabled link -> rightclick on enabled one will show enabled to trigger all to enable, rightclick on disabled one will show disable to trigger all to disabled

This problem occurs when I right click on a single link or on the package for that link. (And likewise for multiple links.) Something else: My Disable/Enable menu item is not in the default location in the Properties sub-menu. I moved it and placed it at top level in the menu.
I couldn't find a way to capture the popup context-menu in a screenshot. (Tried Gif-Cam and Windows 7 Problem Steps Recorder without success.) Ok, here's a screenshot showing the single link selected and disabled, and the context-menu up with the menu item showing Disable instead of Enable. (Found a way to get the popup menu with Windows 7 snipping tool). Last edited by Lram32; 04.05.2015 at 21:25. Reason: merged posts, use EDIT! |

Can we do a teamviewer session? I cannot reproduce this here. Your screenshot shows a state I cannot reproduce.

Merged similar threads.
@mav This is an old bug when using the menu editor once, language strings can get mixed up as the editor "thinks" you've used the other language as custom language string. Other than reset/new config or manually rename all wrongly name actions, there is no way to fix this atm. This can also cause problems like this one.

@pspzockerscene: thanks for this explanation. I played around with menu editor years ago (no real change) and had long forgotten about it.
How to fix: a great feature in JD - reset to default - again to the rescue. After reseting the menu to default (in respective menu editor), the issue is gone / translation works as exected! Last edited by mav; 15.09.2022 at 10:01. |
