I am Venezuelan, currently I am taking face-to-face Japanese classes but due to the coronavirus pandemia, they are currently through the videos on the Loom page, the problem with that page is that it does not allow to resume downloading from the browser every time I lose the connection or there is some blackout. I wish I could download the videos to be able to do the tasks.

Loom plugin not detected the video

Hi,

A plugin for this is unlikely going to be created (any time in the near future).

I've checked it and was able to easily get the .webm http URL via browser addon "Video DownloadHelper".

That also works - file is 4x the size of that .webm so I suppose better quality.

The problem is that the connection in Venezuela is bad. The download button on the page allows you to download it but if the connection is lost it restarts from the beginning and is a nuisance

And how would a plugin fix your "restart from the beginning" issue?
As far as I can see that URL is resumable so either it is not resumable for you or the URL expires which a plugin could work-around.

My question was if it was resumable for him at all - it should be so if there is a problem, it would be the expiring direct-URL.

Update as we got more requests about a plugin for this website:
This website is using split audio/video HLS which JDownloader can't handle yet.
This means that it is very unlikely that a plugin for this website will be added any time soon/ever.
