But it happens in any host. Does anyone else have this problem?

Do you have any firewall/Anti Virus Scanner installed ?
If so, which?
READ THIS and make sure JD is NOT blocked by any programm!
Do you use any kind of TCP optimizing tools?

I'm using AVG Internet Security 2011. I tried to deactivate its Online Shield and all other "extra" features, and check the Firewall state as you mentioned. It didn't work until I disabled ALL of the extra features, and apparently the problem is solved when I leave only the Antivirus, Antispyware and the Firewall, that is, the basic properties. I'll try other filehosts to see if this works for them too. Thanks for your help!

Bumping this thread because i'm having the same problem with putlocker.com. Mind you, i changed my antivirus recently, but i don't want to draw conclusions lightly. I'll upload the log later when i have time, but it's too long. How can you upload the text file and post it here as a link?

I should clarify, it's a similar problem, but not exactly the same. I'm not even pausing or narrowing the download speed. It just crashes on its own. At first, i thought the issue could be that another download process (a torrent) was interfering, but that suspicion was later proved wrong.

Honestly, i lost the link after i downloaded it (yeas, it finished, only after resuming it about 30 times). It was putlocker.com, but honestly, i can't come around to search the exact same link again right now.

Could you be more specific about the connection settings? What details would you have me provide?

Well, max. connections is 5 always, and during that (eventually long) download, i switched back and forth from 1 to 2 max. simultaneous downloads.

As a matter of fact, a few days ago i downloaded the same file, with no extra hassle. The problem... went away by itself? Anyway, i'm thankful for that.

In case something similar comes up in the future, how do you start with the "brdebug parameter"?
