Up until now I was able to hide the annoying and unnecessary menu bar item with bartender, but with Sierra that doesn't seem to work anymore, so I'm requesting a feature that enables me to hide that icon.
I really don't get why this hasn't been done yet. cmd+drag doesn't remove the item.

EDIT: I'm dumb and found the option to do it, it's in the "info symbol" settings.
