Question Subfolders (nested)

Is it possible to have more than 1 Folder in a nested structure, e.g.

Series A
...Season 1
......part1.rar
......part2.rar
...Season 2
......part1.rar
Series B
...Season 1
...

Whenever I try to move Season1 in a new Folder, it becomes the folder.
I'm pretty sure this once worked. I need no plugin-magic, would do sorting and naming by myself.

Cheers, John

Thanks! The related thread is hard to find by lack of keywords I'd suggest.

Don't you agree when I say this simple-seeming feature should be re-evaluated these days - almost 10 years later?
If I keep my widescreen's horizontal, I hardly loose overview.

Don't you know about a plugin that maybe adds just one more depth, doesn't need to be the same entity of folders "packages"(?) like what jd produces. Could be some kind of category like the linked threads author mentioned.

Feature has been requested/discussed several times in the forum. Here is a relatively recent thread, where the developers have declined it (giving reasons):

Topic #62603

If you are interested in workarounds, can add category name to any empty field (e.g. package comment) and use the search field in the bottom toolbar to quickly filter the list using it as a search term. Can also enable the 'comment' column in the download list to view/sort by that value.

Thank you for giving more details on the subject as well as suggesting a workaround to be the closest thing one can do currently.
