I've noticed that there are many plugin requests that are still waiting for treatment even after months or years of wait time. So I guess these requests will probably never be processed. Might it perhaps in the near future be possible for users to create their own plugins? I suppose this is not possible yet, but might it perhaps be possible in the future, for instance by adding a module to JDownloader to make such a thing possible?

It's already possible to create your own hoster and decrypter plugins. Our source code is mostly open, 99% of plugins are freely available to download / alter / compile yourself. You just need to know Java syntax and understand how the plugins work. Most plugins code calls internal methods which perform repetitive tasks, outside of that only basic Java knowledge is required.
google 'getting started guide site:jdownloader.org' if you have any other queries, please ask =] raztoki

Thank you, Raztoki!
![]() Edit: I've googled 'getting started guide site:jdownloader.org' and it landed me on the 'Getting started as a JD-Developer' page. Is that where I'm supposed to go? That I have to turn into a kind of JD developer? I also don't know where I can download all those plugins you mentioned. It'll be a rather steep climb for me, I guess.
