Default Imagefap - no file type when changing name

Since Imagefap introduced their rate limiting crap I've stuck it out with my old method of ripping albums but I've grown tired of it so I'm trying to switch to jDownloader for that purpose. I've run into a problem however. I want to
prefix the downloaded files with the gallery ID-number. This is not an option in the plugin settings so I want to use a packagizer rule to rename files. There's previously been mentioned how it truncates the file name if it is longer than 17 characters (https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=82035). I've been able to fix the issue caused by that by changing the plugin name field so all files get a unique filename when downloaded.

The issue is that when I activate the packagizer rule to prefix the gallery ID number (9753725 in the example link below) the files with filenames longer than 17 characters don't get their respective filetypes added to the end of the name, they're all saved as 'files' instead of .jpg, .png, .gif etc.

It seems that when files that don't have a visible file type in the name (longer than 17 char) there is a function that still appends the correct filetype to the downloads (but the file name wasn't unique before I changed the plugin option). If you apply a packagizer rule that changes the file name that name-change happens before the supposed function that appends the filetype.

Is this something that can be fixed? Is it an error in the plugin or is it a limitation with the software? Does it have to be scripted instead?

I've tried it with and without AV and FW, no change.

Can you please export/screenshot your rule? I'm sure it can be optimized to include/keep the file extension.

I've tried adding filetype (<jd:orgfiletype>) to the end of the file name, but that still doesn't work for the files with names longer than 17 chars.

If I untick the filename-box they all download as the correct file type but obviously without the Gallery ID at the beginning.

check again with next plugin update, please know that changes only affect new added links/galleries
I've also added photoID/galleryID tags in Settings->Plugins->Imagefap

Plugin update just happened, it now works as intended both with my packagizer rule and with the added options in the plugin.
Big thanks!
