Archive.org link problem
Hello,
there is a problem with archive.org in practice I have 51 links to download placed in the notepad but jdownloader only takes 45,47,49 and not all 51. it is possible to solve the problem. A few days ago it worked fine now why doesn't it add all the links? |

Please provide all 51 URLs for testing.
Send them to: support@jdownloader.org. Best would be to have a .txt file containing your original input (= these 51 URLs). -psp-

Thanks for your feedback although I doubt that the fresh install has fixed this issue.
Please don't hesitate to contact as again if that issue keeps happening. -psp-

Hello,
as not mentioned the problem has just come back, perhaps it was a stroke of luck. Reinstallation of jdownloader also doesn't work, even formatting the system and doing a clean install does the same. I sent a log id with debug mode. please check 28.03.21 15.00.17 <--> 28.03.21 15.01.52 jdlog://8969725302851/ |

Check your DNS blocker/PI Hole or other tools
0:ia902800.us.archive.org/127.42.0.1:443| Domain is resolved to local host

i don't have a dns blocker, i am using google dns 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4, 2 weeks ago there was no link problem. Maybe it's an update issue of jdownloader

This has nothing to do with JDownloader. DNS resolving happens in your OS.
Can be DNS/Peer blocker Tools. Or firewall/av or anything else. 0:ia902800.us.archive.org/127.42.0.1:443

jdownloader cannot find only those long links on archive.org as I sent them to you on the text file, I have other links from archive.org but for other things, which are shorter and it finds them all for me. And maybe a problem with long links on archive.org that jdownloaxer can't find

Please provide a new log but the links from your log all worked fine here
And I can just repeat myself again. It cannot work when your DNS does resolve the final download URLs to localhost!

I only have malwarebytes as an antivirus, but I have not blocked anything. As I said the shorter links jdownloader finds them all, while those longer links like in the text file sent instead give problem.

then another thing that I noticed that if I do not copy the whole name but only the folder that ends / and I do not continue with the name of the object it finds them all there too, it is a problem with large links

but why almost 2 weeks ago I had no problems with the links, while now it is?

Why now? I'm sorry but how shall I know why your system does resolve
ia902800.us.archive.org to 127.42.0.1:443 still no logs and just tested again your test links and JD worked fine and found all 52 files Please either provide fresh logs OR let us do teamviewer. Stil unable to reproduce any issue at all

I think I've found the problem. I really think Malwarebytes is the problem, when it stays open it never finds all the links, but if I close it it finds them all

i have nothing stuck in malwarebytes, it seems strange to me. i also disabled all web protection, exploits, malware etc, but the problem still occurs, i have to close malwarebytes for jdownloader to find them all without problems, so you were right the problem depends on malwarebytes and not jdownloader what do you recommend, i have to contact them for this?

Have you tried to uninstall/install malwarebytes again?
In doubt you can contact malwarebytes support about this. I think it's sort of false positive detection/blocking

yes, it is 10 times that I reinstall jdownloader and format the computer, in order to understand the problem, in fact the first software I install is malwarebytes and then all the rest, now that you told me that something blocks the dns, I wanted to do a test without malwarebytes and in fact it takes them all now while if I open it it gives the problem again

You are not alone, see
forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/225347-ia801509usarchiveorg-blocked-for-malware-without-accesing-the-site/ just search for "malwarebytes blocks archive.org"

however that thread is from 2018, I have had problems only now. There must have been some update these days that broke something, however I think the matter can be closed, now that I know the problem is malwarebytes
Thanks for your patience Jiaz to answer me |
