Default JD crashes or freezes when adding files with go4up

JD 0.9.581 Mac OS X Mountain Lion

JD all of a sudden crashes/freezes when adding links via container or via "Add links to JD". I think it has something to do with the latest version.

Since 1 week I have this problem. I reinstalled JD completely from scratch. Now it seems it can load containers via downloading them and adding them with the "Add container" button.

But it still crashes when I try to copy a link from go4up.com for example or sharelinks.biz

It will load the links but then freezes the User Interface and not reacting any more.

Could it be a problem with the Java version that is installed on my system and which java version should be installed so that JD works perfectly?

Thaaaaaaaaank you :-)

I think it's the same problem as this: http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?p=269001
(Please read the post #8)
Because only the users who have MAC have been reporting this problem.

Greetings,

Some user had said Java 1.7 is not supported in a specific version MAC (please, read the related thread to get more information). If Java 1.7 is compatible with your version of MAC, try to install JD2.

it sometimes even freezes when just copying some link.

right now i copied a rapidgator link and jd freeze.

happens totally random.

can you add a feature for mac users where jd will check the installed java version and tell the user if its working ok or if the user should install sth else? i mean why should all users become nerds and figure out which java versions they need. just let jd make the dirty work and tell the user if everything is ok or otherwise automatically download whatever jd needs. that would be a modern software that auto-detects and auto-downloads what it needs to run perfectly...
