Default Relative Default-download path

Hey there. is it possible to use a relative path as the default download directory?

If I simply enter a relative path it is translated into an absolut one - but I want to use JD from an external drive....

You can set a download path inside the JDownloader folder and JDownloader will update that folder/the packages folders automatically on startup.
Eg you can put your JDownloader on an USB drive
e:\JDownloader
and set Downloadfolder to
e:\JDownloader\downloads

now you can move the JDownloader folder to another drive/location and it will auto update
This also works cross-plattform.

So JD always remembers the last path it was executed in?

Yes, it does store its last working directory so it can update the relative path inside its working directory
