Problem With My Uploadgig.com Premium Account
Gentleman ... my Uploadgig.com Premium Account is good till 12/26/2021 but is coming up as non premium and requesting a captcha to log into it ever since the last update. When I go to the Uploadgig web page and sign in to it. I have no problem doing that and my account comes up premium.
So could you please check on this problem I'm having with JDownloader and this premium account and fix it for me. Thank you Ms PM |

Hi.
1. Please read this. As far as I can see, this host definitely has a login captcha although it should only be needed once per session ... 2. Please post a DEBUG-log that contains the login process! Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier. -psp-

Please make sure to enable debug mode before creating your log.
Then go to account manager -> Rightclick on your uploadgig account -> Refresh Regarding the login captcha: That is not a bug - you'll see it too on first login via browser: uploadgig.com/login/form (At least if you need two attempts.) -psp-

I've just played around some more and noticed something important:
Seems like uploadgig.com only allows one session per user. This means whenever you login via JD, you will be logged out via browser. If you login via browser again, JD will be logged out again -> Captcha prompt will appear again. ... so that explains your first issue which is not JD related. Here is what you can do: 1. Logout via browser and only login via JD into your uploadgig account. and/or: 2. Contact the uploadgig.com support and ask them to allow multiple sessions per account - most of all websites allow that! ... but even if that was solved, it wouldn't fix your 2nd issue - the wrong account type: Please post another log. If that doesn't help us to find the issue, you will have to send your uploadgig.com login credentials to us via: support@jdownloader.org . You can change your account password before- and after. Your account will only be used by us to work on this issue! -psp-

I've found out that their website only demands for a login captcha on the 2nd try (e.g. if you enter wrong login data on your first attempt).
I've implemented this into JD so if you're lucky, this will cause less login captchas or even even completely eliminate them for you. Wartest du auf einen angekündigten Bugfix oder ein neues Feature? reading your posts i remember that my office computer also has jdownloader installed and my premium accounts info, so maybe they are wrestling for the login, i have disabled the uploadgig premium account on my work computer and will wait to generate the logs and post them here |

Quote:
Now even if you'd never get captchas after the next update, it would still be "dangerous" to try to use two JDownloaders at the same time with this host because eventually one will get logged out without noticing it and this will lead to exceptional failures. As said you could also contact te uploadgig support because using their account in two JD instances is definitely not against their TOS (as long as both JD instances have the same outside IP) because you're not doing account sharing here (which a lot of services prohibit by TOS). -psp-

Pspzockerscene Implement Fix For Uploadgig.com
pspzockerscene ... I've found out that their website only demands for a login captcha on the 2nd try (e.g. if you enter wrong login data on your first attempt).
I've implemented this into JD so if you're lucky, this will cause less login captchas or even even completely eliminate them for you. WOW ... what ever you did it now works perfectly. My uploadgig.com account now shows that it's premium again and is no longer asking for captchas for loging in. Your FANTASTIC and I Thank You so much. Sincerely, MsPM |

Thanks for your feedback.
I was quite sure that my fix would only fix one of your two issues but it seems like they were related to each other. If you're having issues again don't hesitate to contact us again. -psp-
